Should I drink 73 Year Old Booze?

While visiting Cleveland over Christmas, I swung by one of my favorite antique stores, Attenson's on Coventry. In the "Bargain Basement," in a box of empty bottles, I found these two treasures. On the left: Cognac, bottled in 1934. On the right: Pabst, the label missing. Both, still completely sealed.

You'll notice the bottles appear to be half full; my brother, the Good Doctor, explained to me that alcohol molecules are small enough to escape through cork and wax. So all that may be left in there is water.

But maybe not.

So the question is, do I drink this booze to ring in the New Year?

I can't think of anyway it could possibly go wrong.
