The Most Beautiful Suicide and a Traveling House
I've been so preoccupied with other projects that I haven't had time to share a few links that have come across my desk:
The most beautiful suicide, a photograph of a woman who jumped from the Empire State building in 1947.
In the same line, L'Inconnue, an unidentified woman who was found dead in the Seine. People found her visage so beautiful, that it became a fashion to hang her death mask on the parlour wall.
And finally, Ulysses S. Grant's birthplace toured the country following his death.
